20th Century Fox-Home Entertainment partnered with Six Flags for the film THE THREE STOOGES. Six Flags held a premium for tickets and to receive discounted ticket prices, consumers had to visit www.facebook.com/TheThreeStooges and like the page. A special online discount was offered consisting of a package of three general admission tickets for $99 to be used on April 1, 2012. Six Flags also held a "Dress like a STOOGE" contest where participants had to be one of the first 500 guests to arrive early to get exclusive ride time and a free movie ticket. Lastly, the amusement park held a STOOGE Look-Alike contest. To enter, contestants had to dress as a STOOGE on April STOOGE Day to be judged by an expert panel of guest judges. 20th Century Fox Introduces You to David in Latest 'Prometheus' PromoCreativity's Pick of the Day![]() The marketing for Ridley Scott's upcoming "Prometheus" continues to outshine that of recent releases (yes, even you, "Hunger Games"). 20th Century Fox just released this video starring the dishy Michael Fassbender, who plays the android David in the film. This video is positioned as an ad for the fictitious Weyland Corp. and introduces the creepy next-generation robot. It was previously teased in a "David 8" viral video. The short is directed by Johnny Hardstaff from Little Minx and RSA Films, and the eerie background music comes from Drazen Bosnjak, founder of Q Department. 20th Century Fox partnered with Smart & Final for the film THE THREE STOOGES. Smart & Final offered free movie tickets with the purchase of 2 Snack`rs brand products at a Smart & Final store. To redeem the free movie certificate, a promotional message was printed on the receipt with a unique code. Consumers then had to register at www.activaterewards.com/smartandfinal and a Hollywood Movie Money Print-at-Home was sent to the consumer to be used to see THE THREE STOOGES. The promotion ran from March 27, 2012 through April 17, 2012. Alvin Squeals into Walmart

Fox Consumer Products launched an exclusive multi-category apparel program at Walmart yesterday for the Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked property to coincide with the film’s release on DVD and Blu-ray. FCP’s program features a spring collection of boy’s and girl’s clothing and is done in partnership with Bagdasarian Productions and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.
The launch, which found its way into 3,000 Walmart stores, included cross merchandise displays, the apparel lines and select locations received an interactive wave display. The campaign also has a designated boutique web page on Walmart.com and on its Facebook page. FCP’s Alvin and the Chipmunks

Box office up sharply in 2012More releases lead to 21 percent rise over last year
Thanks in part to seven more wide releases in the first two months of the year, domestic box office is up a healthy 21% over 2011.
The $1.57 billion total is good news at a time when bizzers are concerned about changing audience behavior. But the upturn still wasn't enough to outdo record-breaking results in early 2009 and 2010.
