Warner Bros. partnered with NYX Cosmetics for the film DARK SHADOWS. NYX Cosmetics produced a Crimson Amulet collection inspired by the film. It comprised of 24 matte and shimmery lush eye shadows, 5 blushers, 1 luminous highlighter, 4 lip colors, 1 HD Studio eye shadow base, and 1 extreme black liquid eye liner. The Crimson Amulet retailed at $25.00 and could be found online or in select stores. DARK SHADOWS released in theaters May 11, 2012.

Warner Bros. Pictures teamed up with 7 Eleven to promote the theatrical release of THE HANGOVER PART II. 7-Eleven was offering fans an exclusive peek of the movie through five collectable Super Big Gulp? cups featuring never-before-seen moments from THE HANGOVER PART II. Consumers had to collect all five at 7-Eleven stores nationwide to reunite the "Wolfpack." Through a partnership with the SCVNGR application, 7-Eleven hosted a mobile scavenger hunt with the grand prize winner receiving a trip to Las Vegas. Fans could download the SCVNGR app, available on iTunes and through Android Market. Consumers also had to check-in at stores and complete tasks for points. Warner Bros. Pictures and General Mills teamed up to promote the theatrical release of THE DARK KNIGHT. Participants could save $1.00 when they bought any two General Mills cereals. Specially marked boxes also contained batman toys. The offer expired 8/23/08.

NYC & Company, an official tourism marketing organization for New York City, helped with the promotion for the Warner Bros. film WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE. NYC & Company produced a WILD THINGS WEEK NYC event that included a month long exhibit in the Morgan Library and Museum. The exhibit included original drawings and manuscripts from the children's book. Crowns, like that worn by the main character Max, were given in hotels, restaurants, and retailers throughout New York City. In addition, the New York City Department of Education put together a curriculum guide in relation to the film and book for teachers across the country to use as a reference. The WILD THINGS WEEK NYC lasted from October 12, 2009, to October 16, 2009. The museum exhibit ran for the month of October 2009.

Warner Bros. partnered with e.l.f. cosmetics for the film THE LUCKY ONE. e.l.f. cosmetics held a sweepstakes where consumers could enter at www.eyeslipsface.com/theluckyone. One grand prize winner received a private screening of the film with 50 guests. One first prize winner received a $500 e.l.f. gift card and 25 second prize winners received a LUCKY ONE Look Set. The Look Set included powder, blush & bronzing powder, mascara, lip balm and eyeshadow-all in LUCKY ONE featured colors. The sweepstakes ran from March 30, 2012 through April 30, 2012 and THE LUCKY ONE released in theaters April 20, 2012.

Warner Bros. Pictures partnered with Carl’s Jr. for the film WRATH OF THE TITANS. Carl’s Jr. offered customers a WRATH OF THE TITANS themed cup with the purchase of a large beverage. The cup contained a code to enter at www.carlsjr.com for a sweepstakes. One grand prize winner was selected to win a trip to Las Vegas which included airfare, four nights stay at Caesar’s Palace hotel, a $150 Caesar’s Palace dining certificate and either a skydiving package or a $500 Caesar’s Palace Qua Spa Certificate. LEGO and Warner Bros. Build on Hobbit, Lord of the Rings

Warner Bros. Consumer Products has granted LEGO exclusive rights to develop build-and-play construction sets based on The Lord of the Rings trilogy and the two upcoming The Hobbit films, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: There and Back Again. The multi-year agreement grants LEGO access to the complete library of characters, settings and stories for each property.

LEGO The Lord of the Rings construction sets will launch in the U.S. first, beginning in June 2012. LEGO The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey sets are scheduled for a late 2012 launch. The corresponding film is set to launch Dec. 14, 2012.

Harry Potter attraction coming to Universal Studios Hollywood


Hogwarts is coming to Hollywood.

Universal Studios is planning to build a replica of its successful Florida Harry Potter theme park in Los Angeles, said people familiar with the matter but not authorized to discuss it publicly.

A contract between Comcast Corp.-owned Universal and Warner Bros., which made the "Harry Potter" movies and controls licensing rights to author J.K. Rowling's books about the boy wizard, is being finalized and should be done within the next few weeks, the people said.

The new attraction is expected to open at Universal Studios Hollywood no earlier than 2015.
