Universal Pictures and Nestle teamed to promote the theatrical release of KING KONG. One grand prize winner of the online instant win game or wrapper game received a trip for four adults to New York City. 1,000 second prize winners received Peter Jackson's KING KONG: The Official Video Game. 100 first prize winners received a Nintendo DS Console, Nintendo DS Starter Kit and a King Kong video game. Game ended March, 2006.

Paramount Pictures partnered with La Croix Water for the film TITANIC. La Croix Water held a sweepstakes and to enter, contestants had to visit www.facebook.com/LaCroix, like the Facebook page and follow the instructions after. The grand prize winner received a 4-day, 3-night Luxury Included stay for two adults at any one of the 12 Sandals resorts located in Jamaica, Antigua, Saint Lucia and the Bahamas. The stay included deluxe accommodations, all meals, unlimited premium brand beverages, daily and nightly entertainment and all land and water sports. The sweepstakes ran from March 12, 2012 through April 5, 2012.

Universal Studios Home Entertainment partnered with HoneyBaked for the film HOP. HoneyBaked offered a sweepstakes to coincide with the DVD and Blu-ray release of the film. To enter, consumers visited honeybaked.com and completed the entry form. One Grand Prize winner was selected and received a $7,000 gift card to purchase a dream home entertainment system, and a $250 HoneyBaked Gift Certificate. 100 second place winners received HOP on Blu-ray. The sweepstakes ran from March 1, 2012 through April 30, 2012 and HOP released on DVD and Blu-ray March 23, 2012. www.honeybaked.com/HOP/

Warner Bros. partnered with e.l.f. cosmetics for the film THE LUCKY ONE. e.l.f. cosmetics held a sweepstakes where consumers could enter at www.eyeslipsface.com/theluckyone. One grand prize winner received a private screening of the film with 50 guests. One first prize winner received a $500 e.l.f. gift card and 25 second prize winners received a LUCKY ONE Look Set. The Look Set included powder, blush & bronzing powder, mascara, lip balm and eyeshadow-all in LUCKY ONE featured colors. The sweepstakes ran from March 30, 2012 through April 30, 2012 and THE LUCKY ONE released in theaters April 20, 2012.

It was back to the drawing board for the Scotts lawn care and gardening company when it began several years ago to “reboot” its fertilizer spreader business.

While innovation in fertilizers has been ongoing, those green two-wheeled contraptions that scatter products on lawns to produce greener grass and chase away weeds hadn’t had a makeover in about 70 years. Scotts research found that consumers thought of the job as a time-consuming chore and that the settings to determine the amount of fertilizer spread could be confusing. So, it developed the Snap Lawn Care System, designed to allow customers to snap a bag of fertilizer into the spreader, lock it in and go. Once the job is done the system seals the bag that can then be removed and stored.

Warner Bros. Pictures partnered with Carl’s Jr. for the film WRATH OF THE TITANS. Carl’s Jr. offered customers a WRATH OF THE TITANS themed cup with the purchase of a large beverage. The cup contained a code to enter at www.carlsjr.com for a sweepstakes. One grand prize winner was selected to win a trip to Las Vegas which included airfare, four nights stay at Caesar’s Palace hotel, a $150 Caesar’s Palace dining certificate and either a skydiving package or a $500 Caesar’s Palace Qua Spa Certificate. First prize winners received 2 Hollywood Movie Money certificates and second prize winners received a ten dollar Carl’s Jr. Gift card.  The sweepstakes ran from March 14, 2012 through April 10, 2012. Walt Disney Studios partnered with the NFL for the film JOHN CARTER for a sweepstakes. To enter, contestants had to visit nfl.com/johncarter and enter a code that was found after watching the trailer on the website. The Grand Prize was a 5 day/4 night trip to New Orleans, LA to attend the Super Bowl XLVII, on February 3, 2013. Contestants could enter from February 5, 2012 through March 8, 2012 and the winner was selected March 14, 2012 and JOHN CARTER released in theaters March 9, 2012. www.nfl.com/johncarter

Contestants entered online at eyeslipsface.com/thevow and twenty grand prize winners were selected to receive a pair of Hollywood Money Vouchers for two, and THE VOW themed soundtrack, poster, love coupons and note pad. One first prize winner received a $500 e.l.f e-gift card for a beauty shopping spree and 10 second prize winners received THE VOW Look Set. This included Studio, Essential and Mineral brand cosmetics inspired by the film. The sweepstakes ran from January 27, 2012 to February 17, 2012 and THE VOW released in theaters February 10, 2012.
