Every year we hear about great stories that come from our annual Industry Insights Summit (www.laofficelounge.com/go/summit/about), but the event only happened last week and we are already hearing about a Royal Success Story!  After sponsoring our Thursday reception and bringing emerging artist, Nathan Pacheco, to perform for event guests, Disney Music Group executives partnered with the USO to bring Nathan to Washington DC to perform for Prince Charles at the British Embassy… a once in a lifetime experience for anyone!  The deal was cemented before the Insights Summit was even over and on Tuesday night (5/3/11), Nathan performed for Prince Charles and his delegation.

While the Summit is credited for many entertainment and brand partnerships, this is the first time that something has happened as a direct result of the Summit so quickly and on such a grand scale.  The team at Disney Music Group and the USO did an amazing job making this all happen so fast and the resulting media exposure has been amazing for Nathan.  In 2008, the group Lady Antebellum took the same stage and while we would love to take credit for their success, we were just lucky to be able to have them perform as their popularity was just starting to build. We wish Nathan the same level of success that they have achieved!

The Industry Insights Summit has been so successful at bringing together the right mix of brand and entertainment marketers that The L.A. Office has created a second event that will launch this Fall.  The Industry Insights Forum will be taking place November 9-11 in Miami and will feature presentations from brand and entertainment marketers on trends, activities and opportunities coming from their respective industries and companies.
