7-Eleven and YouTube to Take the Stage at RoadShow Hollywood
Los Angeles, CA (August 18, 2010) --- The L.A. Office has announced its final schedule and presenters for the annual RoadShow Hollywood event and the first ever Entertainment Marketing Week. Going into its 13th year, RoadShow has been known for introducing brand marketers and agencies to upcoming entertainment opportunities from the Film, Television, Gaming and Music industries.
Entertainment Marketing Week:
September 13-16, 2010 will be a week of opportunities in addition to the traditional RoadShow program for the entertainment marketing community to meet and connect with one another. Events throughout the week include:
Entertainment Marketing Week Music Showcase on September 13th –
As an added feature to the opening Meet Market networking reception, various participating music companies will feature their upcoming artists in a music showcase to help kick off Entertainment Marketing Week
RoadShow Workshops on September 15th -
RoadShow will feature a day of workshops designed to offer insights, updates and trends from some of the most well-informed, important insiders operating throughout the entertainment marketing community today. Presented by industry experts, the topics discussed will run the gamut from strategic insights about various types of entertainment tools and content to the impact of social media and new technologies. Keynote speakers for the day include Chris DiCesare, CMO of YouTube, Ted Hong, CMO of Fandango and Rita Bargerhuff, CMO of 7-Eleven.
Discover LA on September 16th -
Entertainment Marketing Week wouldn't be complete without a tour of Los Angeles and some of the most unique marketing opportunities that exist within the city limits. Attendees will be visiting attractions and venues that can help add some of the city's excitement to their next promotional program. The trip will be loaded with many "can't buy" experiences, including a back lot tour of Universal Studios, a Dodger Stadium locker room and field experience and an L.A. LIVE entertainment complex tour.
“We are looking forward to a successful year with hundreds of marketers already set to participate in RoadShow and Entertainment Marketing Week,” said Mitch Litvak, President of The L.A. Office. “We’re thrilled about the level of participation in this first ever Entertainment Marketing Week and all of the entertainment companies that are taking a larger part above and beyond the traditional RoadShow program.”
RoadShow On-Demand Webinars
Last year, the L.A. Office introduced the RoadShow Webinar Series which has proven to be a great success and an easy, affordable way to share upcoming promotional marketing opportunities with the marketing community. Entertainment opportunities in TV, Gaming and Music will continue to be presented directly to attendees through a series of webinars that will be available to view On-Demand in The Lounge at laoffice.com in August. By easing the need to travel, more domestic brands are able to participate while opening the door for international marketers to participate in RoadShow as well.
Attendees have the ability to view the initial broadcasts or On-Demand any time thereafter in The Lounge. The webinars not only allow marketers to create their own schedule for the event, but they save money, time out of the office and resources.
Since “face-time” is critical to the entertainment marketing business as a whole, a special “Meet Market” cocktail reception will take place on the opening day of RoadShow, Monday, September 13, with the intent to facilitate networking among the webinar and live presenters and attendees.
Through the years, RoadShow has helped establish relationships between the brand and entertainment worlds and has spun numerous partnerships. "RoadShow is one of the most important marketing events I attend…I haven’t missed it in seven years,” commented Jennifer Lane Landolt, Director, Kids and Family Marketing, McDonald’s Corporation.
RoadShow Hollywood:
Taking place at the world famous Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Tuesday, September 14, the traditional RoadShow event will continue this year with presentations focused on Film and Home Entertainment opportunities. Studio presenters in the line-up include 20th Century Fox, DreamWorks Animation SKG, Lionsgate Films, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal Pictures and Walt Disney Studios, with additional presenters to be announced shortly. A list of past presenters can be found at www.laofficelounge.com/go/roadshow/prese....
“Last year, the Army team came away with 18 solid partnership opportunities as a result of attending…” added Shirley Kappa, Event Planning, The U.S. Army. “We never imagined the range of entertainment and marketing opportunities that we would find at one industry show.”
